Insects form the fourth type of animal flight. It evolved many millions of years before any of the others and is still today the largest section of flying creatures. It was once thought that it was impossible for a bee to fly. That was before it was discovered that the wings don’t beat up and down as with birds bats and pterosaurs this particular insect used its wings in a unique way forming a figure of eight motion this increases the leading edge vortex on the wing almost doubling the lift and enabling flight.
Many like the Bees are essential to the cross pollination of crops and food production.Lady birds eat countless millions of aphids every year helping to protect our crops.
But some can be deadly. The most lethal creature that ever lived is indeed an insect not a poisonous Spider, Snake, Lion or Bear but a parasite carried by a tiny insect the Mosquito, it is responsible for over one million deaths every year and is estimated to have cost the lives of over 5 billion humans over its time in contact with man kind. One child every thirty seconds dies of malaria. I will say that again:
"EVERY THIRTY SECONDS A CHILD DIES OF MALERIA"

Malaria kills more people than any infection other than HIV/Aids, with an annual death toll estimated at between 1 million and 2.7 million. It infects between 300 million and 500 million people a year, chiefly in Africa. 2000 Britons return from holidays every year infected with Malaria.
